Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya Meets with Faculty at Ulus Vocational School to Discuss Academic Vision and Quality-Oriented Development

Bartın University (BARÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya held an academic vision-oriented meeting with the faculty members during his visit to Ulus Vocational School.
During the meeting, the current status of the school, educational activities, quality assurance systems, accreditation processes, and goals set for the upcoming period were discussed in detail. Comprehensive discussions were also held on topics such as student-centered learning methods and opportunities for partnerships with the industry.
Director of Ulus Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şükrü Teoman Güner, provided information about the ongoing academic and administrative activities.
In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya emphasized the university’s quality-centered development strategy, stating, “Enhancing the quality of education and equipping our students with professional competencies is a shared responsibility for all of us. The efforts and contributions made hold great significance for society. In this regard, your dedicated work is invaluable to us.” He also highlighted the importance of TÜBİTAK 2209A projects, underlining the need to encourage students to participate in such research initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an interactive discussion environment was created, taking into account the ideas, suggestions, and needs of the faculty members. Rector Akkaya expressed his gratitude for the dedication shown by the academic staff and wished them continued success in their endeavors.
