The event titled “General Project Information and TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B Student Projects”, organized in cooperation with the Project Technology Office General Coordinatorship of Bartın University (BARU), was successfully held once again this year with great student interest.

The event began with an informative presentation by Lect. Dr. Erkan Aksoy from BARU Project Technology Office. During the presentation, detailed information was shared on the content of TÜBİTAK’s research support programs for students, application requirements, project processes, and critical points to be considered. Emphasizing the importance of developing a project preparation culture among students, Dr. Aksoy highlighted that industry–student–academia collaboration is one of the most important elements increasing the success rate of projects.

New Regulations for 2025 Applications Introduced

The presentation also covered comprehensive updates on the new requirements and process changes for TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B applications in 2025. Students were guided on key evaluation criteria and priority areas for support in the assessment of project proposals.

Practical Review on a Sample Project

In the practical part of the program, a previously supported student project by TÜBİTAK was reviewed together with the participants. This provided students with a concrete understanding of how to prepare a successful project proposal.

At the end of the event, Vice Director of Ulus Vocational School Assoc. Prof. Bilge Tunçkol presented a certificate of appreciation to Lect. Dr. Erkan Aksoy for his valuable contributions.

This event, which enhances students’ motivation in project preparation, is planned to continue sustainably in the upcoming periods.
