Clothing Production Technology Program Students Connect with the Industry Through “Knitting Techniques” Training within the 26th Professional Talks

Students and faculty members of the Clothing Production Technology Program at Bartın University (BARÜ), Ulus Vocational School (MYO), participated in an online training on “Knitting Techniques” as part of the 26th Professional Talks, aimed at strengthening collaboration with the industry.

The training was delivered by İrfan Yolcular, owner of Nit Örme, Zeynep Ekici, and instructor Ali Bayram, covering the fundamental principles of knitwear production, the manufacturing processes of knitted structures, and modern technologies used in the sector. Participants had the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge on knitting machines, material selection, quality criteria, and production stages.

At the end of the training, an interactive session allowed students to ask questions directly to the experts and engage in a detailed exchange on current industry practices. The highly attended Q&A segment enhanced the practical understanding of the topics, increasing the overall effectiveness of the program.
