Accreditation Information Session Held at the Vocational School

The Regional Information Training for the 2026 Accreditation Applications, organized by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education (MEDEK) on 10 February 2026, was attended by Lect. Hatice Karaca, a faculty member of the Office Management and Executive Assistant Program at our Vocational School.

In order to share the knowledge and experience gained during the training and to initiate preparatory activities for the accreditation process, Lect. Hatice Karaca delivered an information session to the academic and administrative staff of our Vocational School on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, at 12:00.

As two programs from our Vocational School are scheduled to enter the accreditation process as of 2026, the meeting addressed the required actions, precautionary measures, and implementation principles related to program accreditation in detail.

The presentation covered key topics such as the quality assurance system in higher education, program accreditation criteria, self-assessment reports, continuous improvement processes, and the development of an institutional quality culture.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şükrü Teoman Güner, Director of the Vocational School, emphasized that accreditation processes require a structured, traceable, and continuous improvement-oriented approach, and highlighted their strategic importance for strengthening the quality of education and training and enhancing the institutional capacity of the Vocational School.

The information session is expected to contribute to the institutionalization of quality assurance practices and to the effective and sustainable implementation of the accreditation process at the Vocational School.
