Web Page Management Training Held at Ulus Vocational School
A training and hands-on workshop aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of institutional digital content management processes was held by the Web Site and Social Media Commission within Ulus Vocational School. The training was delivered by the Commission Chair, Dr. Eren Gürsoy Özdemir.
During the training, the functioning of the Bartın University website automation system was discussed in detail. The program, attended by academic staff of the unit, provided comprehensive information on the system’s general structure, usage principles, and content management processes.
Within the scope of the applied training, core content management practices such as adding announcements, creating news posts, managing homepage sliders, uploading files to pages, and inserting links were carried out together with the participants. In this way, it was aimed to ensure that unit web pages become more up-to-date, well-organized, and user-oriented.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şükrü Teoman Güner, Director of Ulus Vocational School, emphasized the importance of digital content management in institutional communication. He stated that the training would significantly contribute to increasing the visibility of the units and improving the efficiency of information flow. He also highlighted the necessity of sustaining such practical training activities.
