The 24th Vocational Talk on “Municipal Services in Urban Management” Held at Bartın University Ulus Vocational School
The 24th Vocational Talk, organized by Bartın University (BARÜ) Ulus Vocational School, was held under the theme of “Municipal Services in Urban Management.” The guest speaker of the event was Mr. Hasan Hüseyin Uzun, Mayor of Ulus Municipality.
Meeting with the students of the Office Management and Secretariat Program, Mayor Uzun shared valuable insights on the role of municipal services in urban life, local governance processes, and effective communication within public institutions. The discussion focused on citizen-oriented approaches to municipal administration, projects contributing to the development of Ulus, and the overall impact of local governments on urban life.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya, Rector of Bartın University, made a surprise attendance and met with the students during the event. Speaking at the end of the program, Rector Akkaya stated: “Such events, which contribute to the development of students’ practical knowledge and skills, are of great importance for their professional growth.”
At the conclusion of the event, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya presented a certificate of appreciation to Mayor Hasan Hüseyin Uzun for his contributions.
