Strategic Plan Monitoring and Update Meeting Held at Our Vocational School
In order to evaluate the 2024–2026 Strategic Plan Process Performance Monitoring Scorecard of our Vocational School and to provide information on the update studies for the 2026–2028 Unit Strategic Plan, a Unit Internal Control, Monitoring and Evaluation Commission Meeting was held on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, at 13:30, in the library.
The meeting was attended by academic and administrative staff. During the meeting, a presentation delivered by Lect. Ayşenur Açıkel, a faculty member of the Office Management and Executive Assistance Program, shared evaluations regarding the performance indicators of the current strategic plan, monitoring results, and overall process performance. The presentation also addressed the roadmap for updating the unit strategic plan for the 2026–2028 period, revisions to goals and activities, and measures aimed at strengthening monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Şükrü Teoman Güner, Director of Ulus Vocational School, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the strategic planning process for institutional development. He underlined that performance monitoring and evaluation activities are not merely reporting tools, but fundamental instruments for continuous improvement and quality assurance. Assoc. Prof. Güner also highlighted the crucial role of academic and administrative staff contributions in the strategic plan update process for the new period and thanked all participants for their efforts in ensuring a productive meeting.
Following the meeting, a surprise celebration was organized in honor of Lect. Nurçin Seymen Aksu, a faculty member of the Land Registry and Cadastre Program, who successfully completed her doctoral studies and earned the title of Doctor. A cake was cut, congratulations were extended, and participants wished Dr. Lect. Nurçin Seymen Aksu continued success in her academic career.
The meeting concluded with the sharing of opinions and suggestions regarding the strategic planning process, along with best wishes.
