Department Promotion Visit from Ulus Vocational School to Abdipaşa Multi-Program Anatolian High School
Academic staff from the Smart Infrastructure Technician Program at Bartın University (BARÜ), Ulus Vocational School, visited Abdipaşa Multi-Program Anatolian High School as part of their outreach and promotion activities targeting regional high schools.
During the visit, a comprehensive presentation was delivered to 12th-grade students by the Smart Infrastructure Technician Program, which operates under the Department of Construction and stands out with its digitally oriented educational approach. The presentation covered in detail the integration of traditional construction techniques with advanced technologies, the current and future role of smart infrastructure systems, the practice-oriented learning process offered by the 3+1 education model, and post-graduation career opportunities.
Within the scope of the event, information regarding the program’s mission, vision, and its role in training qualified human resources in line with sectoral needs was also shared with prospective university students. Organized under the theme “Coding the Construction of the Future,” the session was completed interactively through a Q&A segment with participating students.
Ulus Vocational School will continue its promotional activities to support young people in the region in making informed choices and to prepare them for the professions of the future. The school administration and teachers who contributed to the organization of the visit were thanked, and the students who showed interest in the program were wished success in their educational journeys.
