Awareness Training on Combating Drug Abuse Held at Our Vocational School
On November 19, 2025, the Bartın Provincial Police Department’s Anti-Narcotics Division carried out an extensive awareness program at Ulus Vocational School. The event was organized to support the fight against drugs and to enhance public awareness on the issue.
During the training session, the Narkorehber Youth Module was introduced, emphasizing the importance of protecting young individuals from criminal risks, recognizing risky behaviors at an early stage, and acting consciously. The teams also highlighted the societal dimension of combating narcotics, noting that every individual plays a crucial role in this collective effort.
The presentation also included information about the Narkolog Project. Officials explained how the analytical studies conducted within the scope of the project contribute to developing accurate, data-driven strategies in the fight against drugs.
Participants were informed about different types of narcotic substances, signs of use, prevention methods, and reporting mechanisms. The session also featured a demonstration of the UYUMA mobile application.
The administration of Ulus Vocational School expressed their gratitude to the Bartın Provincial Police teams for this valuable initiative, which contributes to raising social awareness.
