Academic Board Meeting Held at Ulus Vocational School of Bartın University

An Academic Board Meeting was held at the Ulus Vocational School of Bartın University to evaluate the 2025–2026 academic year, review ongoing activities, and discuss planning for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The meeting, attended by all academic staff, took place on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, at 12:00 p.m. During the meeting, participants comprehensively reviewed educational processes, quality assurance activities, strategic objectives, continuous improvement initiatives, and academic planning for the upcoming academic year.

As the first agenda item, a general evaluation of the 2025–2026 academic year was conducted. Academic and administrative activities carried out throughout the year, educational outcomes, achievements, and areas requiring further improvement were discussed in detail.

The meeting also included the presentation of the 2026 Strategic Plan Monitoring and Evaluation Report (First Six Months). During the presentation, Lecturer Ayşenur Açıkel provided an overview of the activities implemented in line with the strategic plan, the current status of institutional objectives, key performance indicators, and progress achieved during the reporting period.

Within the framework of the 2026 Improvement Plan, Lecturer Dr. Erdal Güler presented the planned improvement initiatives aimed at supporting the continued development of the vocational school. The presentation focused on priority improvement areas, planned actions, and evaluations to further strengthen institutional quality assurance processes.

The final agenda item addressed preparations for the 2026–2027 Academic Year. Discussions focused on course planning, academic activities, student-centered initiatives, and the implementation of planned actions to ensure the successful delivery of the upcoming academic year.

In the closing session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şükrü Teoman Güner, Director of the Ulus Vocational School, emphasized the importance of academic and administrative activities in achieving institutional excellence. He highlighted that close collaboration and coordination among all academic staff are essential for sustaining a quality-oriented management approach. He also reaffirmed the school's commitment to enhancing academic achievement, strengthening student satisfaction, and ensuring continuous institutional improvement in line with its strategic objectives.

The Academic Board Meeting concluded following the evaluation of the agenda items and the exchange of opinions, suggestions, and contributions from the academic staff.
