A Meaningful Event from the Garment Production Technology Program for the “Year of the Family”
As part of the farewell activities for the 2025 Year of the Family, a meaningful event was organized by the Garment Production Technology Program. Held under the supervision of Lecturer Halide Akkuş, the event featured students sewing family-themed T-shirts and completing their designs through fabric painting activities in line with the family theme. The finished products were exhibited and presented to visitors for appreciation.
Ulus Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şükrü Teoman Güner also attended the event, where he reviewed the students’ work and expressed his appreciation for the hands-on activities carried out. Director Güner thanked the academic staff and students who contributed to the organization of the event.
Within the scope of the event, the Fashion and Style Club was also officially launched. The opening was celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony, attracting strong interest from both students and academic staff.
The event was successfully completed as an important activity that not only enhanced students’ professional practical skills but also supported their social and cultural development.
